Work Shananigans...

What, oh what do you do at six o'clock in the morning, when all your patients are sleeping, and you find the biggest pants on the planet? Grab a friend and put 'em on!
There were some ginourmous pants back in the breakroom at work- and the rest is self-explanatory.

Trying to get in the dang things!

Still a little uneven here...

Ta-da! The biggest pair of pants you'll ever see!

And finally...trying to walk!!

Family Christmas Party!!

We had my Mom's side of the family Christmas Party a few days after Christmas. I thought that I'd better make good use of my Christmas present (A Nikon Coolpix Camera!!)and document these events. It was so nice to see my family, but most especially Little Bit! Her Mommy and Daddy went off to tour Europe for two weeks, so she stayed at YaYa and PaPa's house. It was fun to just hang out with everyone!

And here we are...little did he know he would have to wait a couple hours past starting time for the whole family to show! He's a good sport. :D

Me and Little Bit!

We tried to get a picture of the Grandma's and Great Grandma, but the kids weren't buying it...

Siblings!

She was so fascinated by me blowing bubbles and made some of the funniest faces!

Christmas Time!

I know that this is late- but here is what our First Christmas together was like! We stayed with my in-laws this year and had a really good time! I was supposed to work all day on Christmas, but was thankfully called off! There are still things as Christmas miracles!! :D It was so wonderful to just spend time with family

Our first Christmas morning!! Aren't we a vision of beauty?

Sto had a good time! But the stink wouldn't look at the camera!!!

Grandma and Grandpa came over to see the Christmas loot! Grandpa is showing us how to
yo-yo.

We got to talk to our Elder for over two hours! It was wonderful to hear from him!

Tyson's brother, Ryan, has been called to the Rooseville, California mission....and he is on his way! We took Ryan to the Provo MTC on November 5. There were a lot of mixed emotions there, but we are so happy that Ryan is serving a mission! We are proud of him and wish him the very best two years!

Welcome to the MTC

No one is sure what to think!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! For our first Halloween we went to a fun party dressed as Rosalie and Emmett Cullen! Ty was so nice to let me have my fun and go as Twilight characters. I ordered some colored contacts and thankfully those came in time, but the wig that I also ordered never came! I've had lots of experience putting in contacts(since I was 12) and this was the second time Ty had tried them. We sat there in our bathroom for a good hour or so and struggled to get his contacts in. we managed to get one in, but the other one was stupid! So, we decided that he would be just fine without contacts. As you can see in the pictures below, I had fun taking pictures!

Lake Powell

About the second week of October, Tyson and I went with his family to Lake Powell! We stayed at his Aunt and Uncle's brand-new house boat, and it was so much fun! Before I get into any of those stories, there is one that I have to tell about the trip there. DISCLAIMER: The story I'm about to tell may have way too much information! Read ahead with caution.... Well, after a long, crazy day of work, bombing a test, and hurried packing- we were finally on our way down to Lake Powell! It was a long drive- but that was ok. The only thing that made this drive simply AWFUL for me was my stupid bladder infection. For any of you who have had a bladder infection, you can empathize. For those who can't; let me elaborate. I was told to stay hydrated and increase my water intake- so I did. If you have a bladder infection and have to pee- there is NO waiting. None. Zip. Zilch. Zero!
So we had stopped at a little gas station along the way, and me trying to stay hydrated, got a bottle of water. It was gone within minutes. I fell asleep soon after that and when I woke it was approximately five minutes after we had passed a town, and I had to pee like no other person on this earth has to pee. The whole water bottle had wooshed right through me! So I'm whispering to Tyson, "When is the next gas station till we get there?" To my horror, I found out we had passed the last town and gas station and bathrooms until our final destination. I'm thinking, "Maybe I can hold it for ten minutes..." two seconds later- "Nope. Not going to happen." So Tyson asks his dad to pull the car over so I can do my duty. I get out (thankfully it was dark!) and I head over to some sage brush. I'm remembering the techniques I used in Kenya and pray I don't get my pants.(This is SOOO much easier for guys- it's not fair!) I complete my business and get back in the car. I'm inspecting and find out that I didn't manage to stay completely dry. My pant leg got it. Thank goodness urine is sterile. A few minutes later, my butt starts kind of hurting, and I remember when I was out by the sage brush, it felt like I had "rear-ended" a branch of the bush...do a little inspecting and oh great! It wasn't a branch, but a bug. A bug had bit my butt! And this whole episode had taken place in front of my in-laws! I was off to a great start for this trip!
Thankfully things only went up from there! We had a fun time cliff jumping, riding wave-runners, going out on the boat, and soaking up some sun! Hopefully our next trip down there won't be as dramatic!

It took Sto awhile to build up some courage-
but after a couple hours he jumped!
