School starts Monday.

North Carolina part 3

Here it is! The last part of our fabulous trip to North Carolina! Here we are just chillaxin' on the couch. We went on night for a walk on the beach. This is the boardwalk heading to the beach.

I tried to get some pictures of the ocean at night (which is really quite beautiful), but my camera thought otherwise. So I only posted the pictures that turned out semi-decent.

Our last day at the beach! :(

The trip just wouldn't be complete without a flat tire! The boys all got out and started fixing the tire- -K and I entertained ourselves by pulling ugly faces. Enjoy.

There was this random tractor close to where we fixed the flat that had a flag attached to it. Mom wanted a picture... The ugly faces continued in the car...

Now, while I think I succeeded in pulling the ugliest faces, K can pull off a mean lazy-eye.

And yes...this concludes our trip to North Carolina! Loved every minute of it and wish we were back there!

North Carolina part 2

We love going to the aquarium! It was so much fun to see the sharks and all the other aquatic life! For some reason, my computer won't let me download the videos I took of the sharks. If it lets me, I'll post them. If not, you'll just have to do with the pics I got. :)

By the end of the day, we were pretty wiped out.

C was really ready to go.

One night, my brother-in-law (who has quite a knack for photography) sat down and taught me some of the finer points of photgraphy. It was fun to learn how you should really take pictures, and some of them, I dare say, turned out quite nicely. K was willing to be our model- and there are some cute ones of her too!

I didn't think that there would need to be a part 3 to this adventure, but I was wrong. The best is yet to come!

North Carolina Part 1

We finally made it to North Carolina! It was beautiful. We actually got there a few days early so we went to this neat little theme park, a bit like lagoon, called the Carowinds. Despite the heat and the humidity, we still had fun. Afterwards, we went to our BEACH HOUSE!! It was such a fun week to spend with my family. Good times, and plenty of pictures.

The Intimidator...it was a very tall, very long and extremely fun roller coaster. As the main attraction of the park, it lived up to it's name.
It was soooo humid in North Carolina. While we waited in line to ride some of the rides, they would have fans going with little misters attached to them. This is Papa's model shot.

The half is very important. Yes, I bet you wish you were here with us too!

It was so nice to be with my family for a whole week- even better that we got to stay on the beach!
